Warranty Details
Basic Window or Patio Door Unit – Double Lifetime
The rigid vinyl and factory-applied wood components of the window or patio door (excluding factory-installed jamb extensions) are warranted against chipping, cracking, peeling, pitting, blistering, warping, or delamination for as long as you own and live in the home where the product was originally installed. This warranty is transferable to one subsequent homeowner.
Insulated Glass Utilizing Super Spacer - Lifetime
The insulated glass units utilizing Super Spacer are warranted against defects that result in material obstruction of vision due to film formation between the interior glass surfaces caused by the failure of the air-tight seal. This coverage lasts as long as the original purchaser owns and lives in the home. Small spots, marks, lint, and scratches not exceeding glass manufacturing specifications are not considered defects under this warranty.
Hardware - Lifetime
All moving parts, such as balances on double-hung windows and locking mechanisms, are covered for as long as the original purchaser owns and lives in the home. This warranty ensures the parts are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
Glass Breakage - Lifetime
The insulated glass units utilizing Super Spacer in windows or patio doors are covered against breakage under the following conditions:
One
If the glass breaks due to a manufacturing defect.
Two
In the event of an accident in the home that is not covered by insurance or is within the insurance policy deductible.
WindowLab or representatives will replace the glass free of charge for as long as the original purchaser owns and lives in the home where it was originally installed. This warranty does not cover glass breakage for insulated glass units with internal blinds or in Garden Windows.
Transferable Warranty
The warranty on the basic window or patio door unit is transferable by the original purchaser to one subsequent homeowner, provided the transfer is completed within thirty (30) days after the date of ownership transfer. Warranty transfers must be completed online with our manufacturer at www.provia.com/warranty.

Exterior Vinyl Components: Warranted against cracking, pitting, peeling, blistering, and non-uniform fading for 15 years.
Interior Wood Components: Warranted against flaking, checking, blistering, peeling, and defects in material and workmanship for 10 years.
Patio Door Handles
Bright Brass, Satin Nickel, Aged Bronze Finishes: Lifetime warranty against tarnishing.
Painted, Flat Bronze, Modern Bronze, Antique Brass Finishes: 1 year warranty against flaking, checking, blistering, peeling.
Internal Blinds - 10 years
Warranted against seal failure and defects in material and workmanship.
Screens - Lifetime
Warranted against rotting, staining, or rusting of fiberglass, aluminum, or stainless-steel screening under normal conditions.
FlexScreens - Lifetime
Warranted against rotting, staining, or rusting of fiberglass screening under normal conditions.
Bay, Bow & Garden Windows - 10 Year
Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for frames, roof kits, sashes, hardware, and insulated glass units.
Non-Residential & Multi-Family Applications
Basic Window or Patio Door Unit: 5 Year (non-transferable)
Insulated Glass: 10 Year (glass breakage not included)
Internal Blinds: 5 Year
Hardware: 1 Year
Screens: 5 Year
Finishes: 1 Year
Exclusions
Natural weathering or fading of surfaces, torn screening, non-factory applied finishes, damages from improper installation, abuse, negligence, abnormal use, fire, lightning, windstorms, earthquakes, acts of God, condensation, and caulking are not covered.
Procedure for Claims
Contact WindowLab for inspection. If found defective, we or the manufacturer will repair or replace the product.
